not moaning about hoggard at all, he's been fantastic. My point was that he's not really an explosive bowler a la harmison (on form) Lee, or even Warne. He's an accurate, relentless bowler and its served him well.

Monty is more attacking in some ways and would of given the attack a bit of edge. Giles is jsut there as he can give control, which has its uses, Anderson is playing as he's fairly 'safe'. Won't take many, shouldn't give many away. HE's only playing though as we can't rely on Harmison to bowl a lot of overs. If he's struggling he needs to be taken out, and we need another seamer to come in. THerefore no monty. We can't do that though, we can't play players to protect others. Gambles are needed for the next three tests now.
