The truth is that Ipswich have splashed out some of the little cash they have on a player who has never played at this level and are banking on him to be their star man.

We have paid nothing for a guy who although not a star, has proved himself competant at this level. And we only plan to use him as backup.

I know which clubs position I'd rather be in!
