i see your point

but i think svensson wanted to go, and he had a clause in his contract to let him leave if we went down. If we had offered him a new contract and then got relegated then i don't think much would have changed. If we had forced him to stay then we definitely wouldn't have got the best out of him anyway. thorne is pretty much a 'like for like' replacement.

I'm coming round to the idea.
