I, for one, prefer a straight talking bloke who wears his heart on his sleeve than someone pussyfooting around trying to say the right thing.
I couldn't believe some of the comments on here, quoted in the local press and on the local radio stations.
We seem, somewhere along the line, to have inherited a group of fans who are constantly going to moan and not going to be happy unless they are moaning.
Maybe it's because I am a pre - '92-'93 supporter and have experienced many lows with City, but anyone who takes pleasure in booing their own players is a f**king 'disgrace' as far as I'm concerned.
I believe, with backing, Grant can do some good stuff with this club.
"They were massive for us tonight, honest to God I can't thank them enough. I was concerned, there is no doubt about that. I am a passionate bloke and I expect passion in the club.
I expect everybody who pulls that jersey on to play with a passion and pride.
I know a lot of people were disappointed with the word I used but that's the way I felt, and I couldn't take it away because then I'd be untrue to myself."
Spot on.
Mummy's weasel.
