That was much better tonight, a bit of effort and commitment, and some of the players criticised recently were our best.

Ratings
CAMP - 7 - Handling on crosses was first class and commands area well. Would like to hold on to him as good competition with Gally.

COLIN - 6 - Battled well and won some good tackles, but still tends to drift inside too much.

DUBLIN - 7 - Again, commanding in the air, organiser and talked Shacks through the game. Looks slow against the pace of Hammond/Hume though.

SHACKELL - 7 - Was excellent in the air today and didn't get caught out like he can do. He and Dublin are a strangely good partnership.

DRURY - Can't really assess 15 minutes.

HUGHES - 7 - First three passes wen astray and I thought ' here we go' but was superb at left-back. Won countless headers and played some nice passes when he came inside. Well done Hughesy.

ROBINSON - 7 - Played much better than in recent weeks, won some good tackles and often nicked the ball off others feet.

ETUHU - 6 - Didn't see much of the man really, he is such a big presence but needs to get involved more sometimes

HUCKERBY - 8 - Seemed back to his best, running at players and creating everything he could. Ran his heart out, even getting back to help Hughes. Deserved ovation when subbed.

THORNE - 7 - Played well I thought, and Earnie certainly benefits from having a partner, so he can make runs. Won some headers, if a little unfit!

EARNSHAW - 8 - Where would we be without the wee man? Surely the second goal was his, and you just can't argue with that finishing.

SUBS
SAFRI - 8 - We are a far better team with Saf. He tackled well, passed well and that ball through for Earnie's FIRST goal was superb!

JARVIS - 6 - Done well when he came on.

EAGLE - Good cross for the goal but not time to assess performance with rating!
