At last someone has written something in support of Robinson. This is my first ever posting on this board but I have read some total rubbish written about some players, in particular, Robinson. I am not aware of any OPTA stats in the championship (which by the way aren't anything to rate a player on) but I would be fairly confident that Robinson would be at the top of the list when it comes to pass completion in the NCFC side, or in the top 3 at least. The fact that many people say "he passes the ball sideways" just displays a total lack of knowlege of his role in the team and, generally a lack of knowlege of how the game is played.
Many people compare him to Hughes which is totally innacurate. In terms of a footballing brain, decision making, general awareness etc it is frankly an insult to him to make a comparison like that.
I sometimes think I am alone in thinking that, at 50k he was a very good signing. I'm not sure what some fans expect. He's a player with about 40 international caps and has won promotion twice before in his career. Even if signings are made in January, surely people must be able to see the benefits of having him in the squad.
