So you think the crowd lost City a win on Saturday. Yes we were quiet but the team certainly didn?t give us anything to sing about.
We appreciate you have inherited a squad mainly made up of players with limited ability and for that we still hold Worthington responsible. We also appreciate you cant turn a bunch of journeymen into world beaters and are willing to judge you when you have managed to bring in some quality players of your own but please don?t turn on the fans.
You have only been here a short while but you must have already noticed that Hughes is no midfielder and the sight of him coming on as substitute always lowers the expectations of the crowd. While McVeigh was not having a good game he still possesses more ability in his little toe than Hughes does in his whole body.
Could it be that bringing him on and your perseverance with Robinson cost us the two dropped points ? can our youngsters be that bad?
