I've been reading alot of peoples posts regarding not enjoying going to games anymore and I respect everyones point of view but this is my experiences of going and not going to Norwich matches.
Ever since my dad thought me and my bro were old enough to fully appriate footy he got us a season ticket (nothing worse i think is when you see a toddler a footy game, doesnt have a clue wots going on). My first full season (luckily) was the first season of the premier league when we finished an amazing 3rd. I had my season ticket for many years after that and saw us get relegated (at the time it didnt really sink in as i thought we would bounce back up). The last season of my season ticket was the season we got in the play off final and for 8 mins i wasnt going to uni! I gave my season ticket up and went off to uni.
It was murder! I hated not going to see city every saturday. I worked on sats and this killed me (the amount of times i got in trouble for checking my phone for goal alerts!) Soon it became too much, after half a season i cut my part time work hours, was lucky that i was in uni in the midlands so got to see many away games and bought myself a half season ticket. After half a year i was travelling back every friday night to watch the city.
If you do think you would not miss going to the footy, try it, its murder. When you see carrow road on tv you start telling your mates "i used to in there and meet my mates there before the game".
As i work long hours, i love my saturdays meeting for a few pints before a game, socialising wuth mates and debating the weeks news.
Trust me you all would miss footy if you didnt go, i did.
