My thoughts on today and PG's comments (long post)

It doesn't need to be said that today was 1 of the worst performances we have seen in recent years and we probably didn't get what we deserved because Hull should have had all 3 points. Had we held on though, alot of people quite obviously wouldn't be so negative tonight so it shows just what a fine line there is in football.

Although out of order, people must be able to see where Grant was coming from with his comments. I am a student and go to pretty much every game so this affects my finances massively so it did pi$$ me off when he laying into the fans. However, as a fan, we should be getting right behind the team from the first to the last whistle every week as this is going to bring the best out of the players. Yes it was frustrating to watch today and they should have played alot better, been up for it alot more after last week but I remember hearing the 1st big groan by the fans after less than 10 minutes and Carrow road was so quiet today. That doesn't help the players, simple as that. They need to know they have the backing of the fans. Yes it is extemely hard to get behind them when they are playin s**te but we must do all we can to help them. I think PG is a good appointment and we must give him time in order to achieve success.

And on the subject of Jurgen Colin and Peter Thorne, I don't know how they can be faulted for their performances today. Jurgen is a good player and I find it strange that some people think differently. Yes, sometimes he can be caught ball watching and slightly out of position but he is still young and learning, he can turn into a top player for us. Everyone knows Peter Thorne hasn't set the world alight since he arrived at CR and hasn't scored many goals but in truth, he hasn't started many games so it is a bit harsh to judge him when he has been limited to mostly subs appearences. When he came on, he held the ball up well and won his flick ons and I would like to see him upfront alongside Earnie. Its clear to see that Earnshaw and Mcveigh up top is not the answer.

Anyway, enough said, I am not looking forward to Tuesdays game but as always, I will give it my all for the team and hope we get a good win.
