A LOT is going to hinge on how Engalnd bat in their 1st innings here

They are going to be facing a huge total and if they do badly we'll be looking down the barrell of an innings defeat. Given that we don't have many players going in to the series in good form (or - thanks to injuries - in any form at all) that'll be tough to bounce back from confidence wise (and yes, I know we got stuffed in the 1st test in 2005 but we went into that series on a 3 year roll and so had greater reserves of confidence to draw on).
