Most prem teams don't make profits despitre getting far more money in than we got.
I don't think a lot of fans appreciate just how quickly players wages etc soak up what looks like a windfall of surplus cash. They still try to calculate cash avialability by adding up transfer fees in and out.
How do you think Bolton - who are famous for doing well in the Prem (and thus getting a bigger share of the TV dosh) and paying very small transfer fees - still manage to rack up whopping great debts?
