Have to say I kind of agree with you

expectations are higher than you can really justify, I think. We were average for years before one freak season, basically. Since then we've been average or worse - now we're back to just average again.

But that freak season raised all of our expectations, and they haven't sunk back to where they were before - i.e. anticipating mid-table champ football, with the occasional surprising performance where we look better than that...
