We're still a much, much better team with him in it

but if there are difficulties with the contract then he will be unsettled, therefore not playing well, not focused etc. And when your biggest player isn't playing well, as we saw with Ashton, it affects the whole team dynamic.

Needs to be sorted, one way or the other. Fast.
