My ratings after watching the game on Sky

Grades 1-10

Gallacher - 7: Can't be blamed for any of the goals, and did some good saves
Colin - 6: Out of position too many times. Got in a couple of good crosses.
Drury - 6: Some good tackles, but was exposed due to lacking of support from midfield. No contributions in attack
Shackell - 6: A few errors, but overall an allrigt performance.
Doherty - 6: Ok performance. Some good tackles, but gets himself into trouble when he fails to close down the attackers.
Robinson - 2: A disgrace. Can't pass the ball. Loses the ball far too easily, and doesn't track back to help the defence.
Hughes - Can't grade him as I didn't see him :-p
Etuhu - 5: The one who sucked the least in central midfield. Gave the ball away too much, and seemed uninterested. A few ok passes.
Chadwick - 6: Apart from the goal (well taken btw...) he didn't get much to work with forward. A couple of good backtracks, but he has to take the blame for their first goal - gave away the ball far too easily.
Huckerby - 6: Started brightly, but he just couldn't beat the defenders, and he left Drury way too exposed (as usual).
Earnshaw - 6: Not his fault that he was given nada to work with. A pity he didn't put away one of the two chances he got.
Dublin - 6: His presence resulted in some more pressure for a little while, but not nearly enough.

Grant - 4: I think it's suicide to start with 4-3-3/ 4-5-1. Worthington demonstrated over and over again that Earnshaw alone up front is just to light-weight. Also a disgrace to break up the Dublin-Shackell partnership. In my opinion he should have started with Doherty-Earnie up front in a 4-4-2. The poor first half (in spite of the goal) should have resulted in a half time sub.
