Will they won't they saga cont.

I'm amazed at the ongoing saga surrounding Francis and Helveg.

Call me naive but if our club haven't had any contact with Pompey but Francis' agent claims to have spoken to them regarding his availablilty and the talks are 'well advanced', then surely this constitutes a 'tap-up' and therefore we could hold Pompey to ransom to the tune of 10 million quid a la Spurs, seriously though isn't this move illegal?

Also on the Helveg front I'm becoming concerned that all the talk is about Helveg being released! I accept that he wants to leave but surely we should not let him go without getting some recompense from his future employers.

I'm sure however that our club are working tirelessly to recruit more players, just hope they come with more 'pedigree' than the first summer signings. Hope they're as good as Francis but would like to see some proven quality brought in soon.
