and also for NCFClife below - I thought Carrick had a very good game last night. Just 'cos he's not the usual Egnlish midfielder - ie doesn't spend the entire game hurtling from penaty area to penalty area - doesn't mean he's not international class.

I missed the first quarter of an hour. But after that he was the one in our midfield moving the ball quickly, switching the play, opening up the game for us. May not have always caught the eye, but he played well.
