I have had a few pairs of Sony ones, the last ones being the in ear ones for about 33 quid. They broke though (more about that in a sec) and invested in some Shure e2g (same as e2c) which are a lot lot better. I'm no audiophile but the sound quality is significantly better and they also block out external noises. The main problem with Sony ones that I've found is that they always break at the latest at the 12-14 month mark ie just after the warranty ends. I've literally had about 7+ pairs over the years and the build quality was getting worse with each pair I got so I decided to spend 50 quid on the Shure ones which I think come with a 2 year warranty as well. Build quality and sound quality is certainly worth the extra
