My tuppenceworth

A friend who owns a reasonable number of shares in the Scum and is a keen binman told me early in the season that he'd been asked to a meeting of those with large shareholdings and been told that the club desperately needed further funds, and that it was s**t or bust this season. Basically they said they were in real financial doo-daa and needed big shareholders to invest/donate more, or lose the lot.

I know that it is true that he told me this. Whether what he told me is true, I do not know.
