I was a bit shocked that ?10 a month to have an account is a bit much

if signing up for a credit card waved that charge, I'd just take out ?400 on a credit card and pay the ?8-9 minimum payment to avoid the ?10 a month charge. At least I'd ?400 better off doing so

Lass on the call centre said I wouldn't be charged cos I have more than one account and I use the other services stated to get away with the charges

Phew, didn't like the idea of coughing up ?120 a year for having a current account
