One very happy Canary today. After the debacle that was Stoke, this was so much better. I know the reports will say West Brom hit the woodwork 5 times, but the players were immense, battled, fought and passed the ball. Dion was a leader at the back and gave Shacks support and confidence. Both Drury and Colin were very solid, and a great cross from Jurgen for Earnie's goal. Midfield, a bit mixed, Saf and Robinson went missing, but Dickson was immense when pushing forward. Hughes, played out of position but did well. Hucks played like ... Hucks, but he tracked back when required. Ern, scored, held the ball up well, and did the somesault in front of the away end.
It's been a long time since we Mancs saw the last away win. But we loved it at The Hawthorns today. Top support (as ever), with the 'Great Escape' being sung and 'Peter Grant's Green Army'.
Well done boys, thank you! A happy weekend, bring on the Ipswich!
