Talking of local journos

has anyone else read that final word piece by Gedge? It's bizarre. We are in danger of being like West Ham fans thinking everyone wants to beat us, we're the big boys of the region etc etc. And it's so parochial it borders on the embarrassing.

Southend fans don't give NCFC a second thought - most of them won't even realise where it is.
