Off the top of my head

Transfer fees are half on transfer day, half in 12 months, then add-ons as they fall due (I may be completely wrong).

That would mean West Ham currently owe us ?3.5m for Dean Ashton (plus ?125k on appearances and ?125k on a full England cap), plus ?1m for Robert Green (plus any add-ons), making a minimum of ?4.5m falling due this financial year.
