It's a lovely place, but indistinguishable from a nice English city. Glasgae is definitely "more Scottish".

Do do the Royal Mile down to Arthur's Seat (watched the sun rise from up there once), as others have said lots of little streets to go down.

The beer is called "heavy" - don't ask for X-shillings or whatever it says on the pump - and is gorgeous.
