The Faroes are like the Falklands of the Northern Hemisphere....

but more mountainous. There's no trees, lots of sheep, only one town (Torshavn) and a ferry link with the Shetlands in Summer (Smyril Line I think). They speak Danish and wear big thick jumpers!
