WHY do these halfwits continually shout for the board, and particularly Delia, to "Get her purse out", "free up some money", etc etc etc and imply that somehow they are holding the club back while they run their hands through the uncounted millions just washing around the Carrow Road baordroom?

News flash - Delia is a multi-millionaire, but she is no Croesus. Her personal fortune is in the region of ?15m - ?20m (Sunday Times rich list 2006) and while her husband is worth anything up to a similar amount, bear in mind that a substantial proportion of that value will be reckoned from their share of the nominal value of the football club.

As you can see, we are mightily outweighed in the Owner's Fortune stakes by the likes of massive clubs such as Oxford United, Stockport, Millwall, Blackpool, Port Vale, Bristol City, and Woking Town.

And don't, for f**k's sake, say "Well she should step aside for someone else". Who would that be? Name me another passionate Norwich fan who falls into the ?60-?100m personal wealth bracket? Who is prepared to fund the team Dave Whelan-style into the top flight? No? Mainly because, I suspect, there isn't one. And most of the foreign investment sagas such as Stoke (Bought by Icelandic businessmen) and arguable Hearts have turned into a total and utter shambles.

You will get your change of owners soon enough. Delia is 65 this year and her husband, I believe, is in his early seventies. I would exoect that within the next 5 or so years they will be looking to scale back their investment and let someone else take over. Frankly, the thought of who that might be worries me.
