Blame XXL16

After all he revealed yesterday that we would be playing Docherty in midfied - imagine the confidence boost that must have given to Stoke!

Some thoughts on the game today - we were woeful in the 1st half - the Doc looked like a centre back playing in midfield (strange that), really we should have been 3-0 down after a blatant penalty against Fuller ( what an idiot for his response to our 'ironic' chants of cheat).

2nd half we were actually playing ok and getting back into it when Ashdown was sent off - the introduction of Thorne and Eagle had given us a bit of shape and they were on the back foot for 10 minutes. Shambles after that.

Agree with points earlier about Eagle - he finds good space but is too eager to nock the ball in to the box rather than try and take anyone on - that said he looked our best player!

Let's hope XXL16 returns to Hong Kong soon and stops revealing our 'secret' formations for future games!
