He's a big earner and the parachute payments end this season. Let him slowly go (with all the attendant glitter and sparkle that Iwan got) and maybe we can sign 2,3 cheap replacements?

Make out its mutual of course, and lots of back slapping and emotions etc etc, but, at the end of it all, he's gone and we save ???'s. I don't reckon the Board want to keep him on at all, else it would have been done in the summer. They're not slow to reward someone if they think theres something in it for them (eg) Ashton.

It'll drag on and on and he'll eventually get the message and leave.
