Apparently they were owned by feuding brothers. No idea how true that is.

Why on earth does on have some old knackered decomissioned RAF jet in the carpark? On the left as you go north. Why would a cafe owner think:

"Bravo! A knackered old plane! That'll get the customers flooding in!"
