In the sense that you're getting out and involved in things that are (a) interesting (b) very useful for future careers.

Most Freshers I've come across simply think the first year is about getting as drunk as possible as often as possible. Then wonder why they graduate with 2:2s or end up in s**t jobs...

More to uni life than just getting bladdered. Whether by accident or design, you just seem to have cottoned on to that sooner than most.
