The Red Lion pub near the Ketts Tavern...help needed please.....

Me and my dad are going to the Cardiff game later on today and pre match were looking to obviously have a few alesa nd bit of food.
I'm wanting to treat my dad to lunch and i was just wondering what the Red Lion was like,(the one right near the Ketts Tavern)
Does it do a few real ales?,(as my dad and me are fan of this)
Is it not over crowded at 12ish/1ish?
What's the food like?
