Mate of mine, Matt, that I used to work with was project manager for a large project with a Swiss bank. This project was key to their future IT strategy so a presentation was arranged to about 10 board members from around the world. Of course, at great expense, these were flown into London first class and installed in 5* hotels.

The presentation was introduced by the bank's IT director who got about 5 minutes into his speil when the most senior director banged his hands on the table, pronouncing "that's not the way we do things in this bank" and walked out, dutifully followed by the rest.
