Just been doing some searches and found this:

Until, that is, 2004 - 2005, when suddenly his form and fitness deserted him (not that he was alone in that in this worst of all seasons). It is to be hoped that we see Matty back to his best, because, while no Viv Anderson, he's a good player, and we need everyone we can get.

Basically sounds pretty decent on his day but has got some baggage.

p.s. How long did he have left on his Forrest contract? I thought he was a free agent in which case why didn't we get a fee for Holty?
