As I have already pointed out in another posts this is BS. 100000 people kept the manhattan atomic project secret for years. In any case it would only take a limited amount of people at the top with insider knowledge to keep this secret. The rest who were involved will have been compartmentlized and told to do a specific job and then told if they ever talk there families will get it.
