Just in case the Mods on pinkun don't let it through......

Been bugging me a while this one, recently it was inferred that "Getting off the fence" and "Middle of the road" may be one and the same person, a sentiment I felt too but did not draw attention to.

What has been eating me is an overwhelming sense of deja vu not so much in what this/these posters have been writing although the continual referral to petitions being fraudulent was ringing the odd bell but more the posters style of writing. I "knew" this person but not under either of these two aliases.

Now here's a clue, the following is a quote from a poster who was prevalent on this board earlier this year and is quite representative of dozens of posts made by this person at around the time of Kathys petition as I'm sure many of you will remember.

I do'nt know how the Worthy Out campaign can be anything but embaresed by the petition last monday. It has produced a few hundred people saying that they wanted worthy out and all the KTFers will say that there is only a minority supporting the worthy out cause.

Me and some friends did are best but to vote was so much hassle that even I only managed to votes 3 times after I said that I would try and vote a lot. One of my friends claimed to have votes 4 times (Im note sure that I beleive him tho) but most of them only managed a couple.

Having the petition again against Wolves is a good idea as it gives us the chance to vote again and if we all vote again we should at least double the vote. BUT PLEASE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER - if it is the same shambles as it was on Monday, even the most loyal of us will only be able to vote a couple of times and we will end up with just a couple of thousand votes for Worthy Out. All the KTFers will say then that most people want Worthy in.

I know your intentions are good but we cannot afford to mess it up again!

Now I'm sure many of you realised at the time that this was a poorly disguised attempt by a supporter of Worthy to discredit the petition by pretending to support it fraudulently if neccesary, the deliberate mis-spellings were designed to imply the poster was younger than he actually is and to gain a bit of street cred, but many posts were written and still are being written about this petition so it's time to expose and put the matter to rest.

So please step forward Middle of the Road, or should that be Silver Canary??????? Yes the same Silver Canary who singlehandedly tried to discredit the WO petition, the same MOTR who continues to insinuate that an attempt was made to defraud the Public over the petition, the same Silver Canary who last posted on this board on the 24th April 2006, spookily enough exactly the same day that MOTR joined this board and one day after GOTF (who also posted at length abouth the petition joined).

Not being a hat wearer I can only promise to go out and purchase a very large one to eat if I am wrong but I am confident my diet will not be involving fedora fettucine anytime in the forseeable future.

Maybe quietly Kathy and everyone else involved in organising the petition should be forgiven by anyone who harboured thoughts however privately that it was a fiddle, all aspertions were cast by one poster who repeated it to the extent that it became accepted "fact".

With a few hundred posts on here to mooch through there's no doubt at all which side of the fence (pun very much intended) Silver Canary aka Middle of the rd were on all along.
