loads of bands put singles out on vinyl, I have a few by bands like

Hell Is For Heroes, Hundred Reasons, Soulwax, Biffy Clyro and more.

It's often done by small bands with a loyal fanbase, as they know those fans will buy the vinyl on the assumption that one day it will be valuable when said band is famous.

Quite often, it's a different colour (e.g. not black) as well, as if that makes it more rare!
