I was really happy when I woke up, put on the bbc website (the ex-pats information source for everything!) and found that Grant was our manager.

A great signing. A person who as a player was vocal and intellegent. Did one superb job as coach at Bournemouth and his credentials at West Ham are there for all to see in their promotion to the Prem and a great season last year.

Just the person we need in charge. A fresh outlook to a stale squad on a downer after some great seasons with Worthy. A Manager who can work with Hunter to get those youth prospects to work and motivate the team.

I see a bright future ahead. The Board have appointed someone who they can work with over the long term to ensure success. Not a 'give me the money and if it don't work in 6 months i'm off' type manager like Hoddle, Robson or McLeish.

So I was shocked to hear the reaction on here. If you don't like it, if you don't like the stable and respected way the club is run, then just get lost. put your Sky TV on an masterbate over Chelsea, which with their dodgy dealings and mega money, make it a souless club, but will give you the 'big names' you are after.
