I just don't get all this negativity.

"I hope he succeds and I'm proved wrong" suggests to me that he has to prove you wrong before you actually start backing him. Thats bollocks. Just get behind the fella fom day one. We've spent 18 months getting rid of the last one - the very least he should expect is 100% support from day one
