my thoughts on grant. Although i find it a not particularly exciting appointment i am pleased the club didnt go for a big name like Robson or Souness. They wouldnt have had the drive or need to prove something. Not going down that road really left either a strong number 2 with lots of ambition or a manager from lower leagues. Who can tell how he will be. I am not going "yes" but relieved i am not going "no" with people like Blackwell or Martin Allen. As a worthy "inner" until relatively late on, i hope people will now get behind the manager and give him a good period of time.
