Who though Conker?

Souness? Robson? Reid? I'd have been incredibly f**king annoyed to see any of those duffers at my club. Proven and experienced? Arguably yes to the first part and definitely to the second. But they would not have done a job at our club?

Curbishley would have been nice but that was never going to happen. He would have cost a fortune and what money we have is needed to improve the quality of our woefully inadequate squad come January.

Grant is, as someone else has said, a middling appointment. Not overly impressed but certainly not disappointed.

Lets give the guy a fighting chance!
