I'm pleased the Board haven't taken the soft option here. A new face was needed, new ideas, and no recent history with the club... meaning that his relationship with the squad he inherits isn't tainted one way or the other.

Everyone has to start somewhere. He'll get a chance and he'll get my backing, and I for one am glad that the Board have made a decisive move for once rather than dilly dallying around.
