Fair enough selling marshall and getting the cash, although I noticed when Bellamy got sold for 5 million Hamilton didn't get a good chunk of that

One of my pet hates about how Worthington was successful here. He took us through the 2000/01 season then got another 650k for Rivers, Easton 100k, Crichton 150k etc etc

If Hamilton had spent 150k on Crichton, it would be a huge stick to beat him with

At the same stage last season, worthington had one more that what hamilton did when Hamilton was sacked, yet last season worthington was spending 500k on hughes, 600k on etuhu, getting frees in like Thorne and Louis Jean, on top of the fact that he had class like Ashton and Huckerby in the team, and safri, resources no manager at norwich had for years

That said he got support for the rest of last season, and was allowed to blow 3.5 million on earnshaw, which to me is still far too excessive for a club with our finances
