Does anyone really know much about Grant as a coach?

WHU upturn seems to have co-incided with his appointment. He was at Bournemouth before that? But they're so financially woebegone that it would be hard to read much into it.

I can't even remember much about him as a player. Competant, but not flashy? Past his best? Did he shout much? Take charge of things? I've no recollection.
