England are ordinary

the players are protected by playing with better continental players in their league team which hide their deficiencies and believe their own hype that they are good players. When they get together England are simply a bunch of ordinary players resulting in an ordinary team who believe press hype of their abilities bolstered by ridiculously high and totally undeserved salaries.
Rant over - plaigarising Sue Mott`s article in the Sunday telegraph about what is wrong with England. In fact nothing is wrong other than that they are simply not very good.
