Not really, I just found it funny, and it proves people can laugh at themselves

If I went out tonight and an Irish bloke was in the bar and I cracked joke after joke about the Irish, he'd have a right to take offence, but if he did it and everyone had a laugh, it would be fine as he'd set down his intentions that he isn't easily offended and is up for some banter
