than either simple or small-minded.

calling someone a cock is merely a matter of opinion about their personality, which is subjective. if someone thinks i'm a cock, i don't really care, because it probably means they are.

simple and small-minded imply sub-normal intelligence and arguably bigoted ignorance, neither of which apply to me.
