Martin Oneill isn't stupid

Why would he risk loads of money. Either Sutton has shown he is good enough to command big money or Oneill has got him on a contract which suits Oneill.
Anyway, Paying sutton ?500k for a year is still cheaper than buying Hughes or Etuhu and paying their wages for a season.
