He stayed for two reasons

1. Because he wanted to carry on in his job
2. Because he wanted to get all of his contract paid up

Anyone who think sotherwise is , as I said, naive in the extreme. Would you resign and kiss goodbye to potentially 2 or 3 hundred grand??
