If the next manager is a total flop - especially if he radically restructures the squad (as it looks like he'll have to) then I think Worthington will be quite fondly remembered, as someone who gave us a lot of good times, signed some decent players and made Norwich City an interesting team to follow again. (For the most part).
If his successor turfs out the real duds signed by NW towards the end very quickly, and soon builds a team that goes up and stays up, I think we'll remember Worthington as a mediocrity who reached his limit, found himself out of his depth and then completely lost the plot.
Funny old game, innit?
