Yesterday was the first time I have seen th eteam perform since Plymouth last season.
To put it succinctly, we simply are not good enough all over the park. Up front too many wrong decisions were made by Croft, Huckerby et al. Earnshaw can find the net but also needs to learn when to pass rather than work a shooting opportunity. The defence with the zonal marking system is a complete shambles with everyon being caught ball watching far too often. Safri was unspectacular and I didn't even realise Robinson was playing until 35 mins in when the cameras caught him being pulled out wide by the Burnley midfield.
For those that were slating Dublin's performance yesterday...I offer you Peter Thorne as evidence of how to really be inept.
Its a big ole mess down at carra rud, which needs a big broom but the encouraging signs are there in that we performed at the beginning of the season with the same players, new manager, new ideas NEW NCFC
