Some thoughts on today.

1. Nigel Worthington took us from relegation battlers to league champions in two years. For that I will always have respect, as those years were the best of my Norwich supporting life. (I started supporting the team in 1993, happy years since then have been few and far between.) For that reason, it makes me sad that it has ended like this.

2. Nigel Worthington was long overdue the sack. I respect the board for attempting to work through the problems, but it was clear that though he once too us forward, he was now taking us back. Hs post-match interview today sums up his mind-set. He is a good man, but he is on another planet.

3. I've little time for some of the fans' attitudes. QPR last season was the worst game of my life. I'm thankful I wasn't at Carrow Road today. There have been a lot of bandwagon-hopping dicks in the crowds, some of who I could see on screen today. But, the protests were necessary and for those who argue that this was a shameless, bullying and cheap shot at an individual for the benefit of the Sky cameras, I remind you that Worthington often publicly showed little more than contempt for those fans who questioned his motives. I have no sympathy for him, swings and roundabouts and all that.

4. Finlaly, when will the KTFers get into their heads that we weren't wingeing because we wanted to be back in the Premiership. Many of us enjoyed that season, though we went down. Our problem was always the lack of passion in the performances. It's not nice to watch Norwich these days. The beginning of the season reminded me of the Norwich I love, even the couple we lost. Hopefully this can return.

5. Yes, I'm happy that Worthington has gone, because we were stuck at a dead end with him in charge. But I'm not going to gloat about it. Everyone on here who is can sod right off, eh?

6. Curbishley, Bowen or Cotterill? Macclesfield sacked their manager today. Delia, don't even think about it.
